This one is a big job, and it's coming together really well. We're mid-install on a lakeside property that's getting a full outdoor living overhaul - paver patio, walkways, and more. The scope here is significant, and every section connects to the next with intention.
The patio area under the covered portion of the home is nearly complete. Large-format charcoal pavers laid in a staggered pattern give the space a clean, modern look that holds up under heavy foot traffic. Getting the base right under a covered structure like this is critical - drainage has to be planned carefully so water doesn't work its way back toward the foundation.
Out toward the lake, the walkway is where a lot of the detail work lives. The curved edge bordered with a contrasting dark soldier course takes real time to execute correctly. You can't just eyeball a curve like that - every cut has to be precise, and the border has to stay consistent all the way through. That's the kind of thing that separates a quality install from one that looks off after a year.
There's also a natural stone landing being worked into the staircase area, which adds a nice contrast against the gray pavers. Projects like this - with multiple surfaces, grades, and transitions all happening at once - require solid planning before the first paver ever goes down. That's exactly how we approach every job, regardless of size.
We're now booking landscape projects for 2027. If you've been thinking about a paver patio, retaining wall, or a full outdoor living space, now is the time to get on the schedule. Pricing locks in at today's rates when you book, and our calendar fills faster than most people expect.
